• History Fact:: Author Jules Verne was born on this day in 1828. Verne was a French author who helped pioneer the "science fiction" genre and is often referred to as the "father of science fiction". some of his most notable works include: Twenty Thousand leagues under the Sea, A journey to the centre of the Earth and Around the World in Eighty Days.

We welcome your thoughts and suggestions as we plan for the 2010-12 school years. The LSC will open the floor to the audience as we begin the planning process immediately following a shortened regular meeting.
